Blaxtair saves lives. Having invented the intelligent sensor to protect pedestrians around industrial machinery back in 2009, Blaxtair now has more than 20,000 units in operation. Equipped with artificial intelligence, Blaxtair is the most robust embedded smart sensor able to distinguish, in real time, a person from an obstacle and alert the driver without any unnecessary alarms in case of danger.

Blaxtair continuously looks after obstructed areas around the machine. Thanks to its image-processing algorithms - the result of 30 years of co-development with the CEA List - Blaxtair utilizes artificial intelligence in the most effective way to detect at-risk pedestrians. Depending on the imminent risk, the Blaxtair issues a visual and audible alarm to alert the driver. A control screen in the cabin allows the driver to judge the critical nature of the situation. Several machinery manufacturers have already implemented the solution such that their machines automatically slow down after the Blaxtair has issued an alarm.
